Daniel Rathjen and John Lindley pleaded guilty yesterday to a drug trafficking

Daniel Rathjen and John Lindley pleaded guilty yesterday to a drug trafficking charge and got 75-day jail sentences. Authorities say the men thought they could avoid border control by crossing a narrow strip of the river, running between Michigan and Ontario.
They took a ferry to Sugar Island, then tried the crossing but fell through the ice January 20. A resident gave them a hot drink and dry clothes.
