Guilty of massive iTunes fraud - Tameside Advertiser
Guilty of massive iTunes fraud - Tameside Advertiser: "massive fraud in which more than £750,000 of music vouchers were bought and sold to launder money.
Ketanbhai Kantubhai Patel, of Kings Road, Ashton, was part of the gang of eight who stole the details of more than 7,000 bank cards and used them to buy iTunes gift cards. They then sold the cards on at a reduced rate on websites including eBay.
The fraud was only discovered when three of the men were stopped by police as part of a routine search and a laptop was seized with details of the cards used to make the online payments."
