Susan Joy Shipston , 56, was today sentenced to 10 years' jail
Susan Joy Shipston , 56, was today sentenced to 10 years' jail and labelled a serious violent offender for her role in the killing.
Mr Baccon, 35, died after being shot four times in the head and twice in the leg on May 29, 2001.
Council workers found his body three days later on the side of Kingaroy-Cooyar Road, several kilometres south of Kingaroy, in south-east Queensland.
The Supreme Court in Brisbane was told Shipston's son, Gary Goodrich Jr, carried out the execution after being encouraged by his mother to seek revenge for the alleged threat against his son.
Goodrich Jr, who has pleaded guilty to murder, told his mother Mr Baccon had threatened to pour acid over his baby's head because Goodrich Jr had not repaid a $70 drug debt.
The court was told Shipston, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter, became angry and helped plan a revenge attack.
Prosecutor David Meredith told the court Shipston lent her son her car so he could drive from her Nanango home to nearby Kingaroy to pick up Mr Baccon.
Shipston also enlisted the help of Brendan Charles Cooper - who has already been sentenced to nine years jail for his involvement - who was driven to Kingaroy in a separate car to ensure Mr Baccon didn't become suspicious.
The court was told the plan was for Cooper to assault Mr Baccon with a piece of wood.
But the assault quickly escalated when Goodrich Jr pulled a .22 rifle from the boot of the car in which the trio were travelling.
Goodrich Jr shot Mr Baccon and they dumped the body before returning to Shipston's house, where they burned their clothes and stripped the car.
After three years of fruitless police investigations, officers finally received a tip-off and planted a listening device in Shipston's home.
They also discovered she was trafficking cannabis, with more than 1,300 people visiting her home in a one-month period.
Shipston, who admitted to being a heavy drug user for 28 years, was arrested in April 2005 and was set to go to trial on a murder charge.
However, she decided to plead guilty to manslaughter last month.
She also pleaded guilty today to one count of trafficking and one count of possessing a dangerous drug.
Her son will be sentenced at a later date.
