Ernest Strulovics was arrested in Ocean County in the U.S. state of New Jersey in June after being on the run for years

Gerhard Jarosch of the Vienna public prosecutor's office says Ernest Strulovics is back in Austria and will appear before a judge soon. Jarosch declined to provide details Tuesday, saying only that the judge is expected to place Strulovics under detention while he awaits trial.Strulovics was arrested in Ocean County in the U.S. state of New Jersey in June after being on the run for years. Austrian media have reported that he is alleged to be behind euro11 million ($14 million) in fraudulent real estate dealings in the 1990s that often involved immigrants who spoke little or no German.
